Programmer
I am a Java programmer. Programming in Java is my passion. But I also like programming in Ruby and Ruby on Rails. I started liking Ruby on Rails so much that i have also started developing websites using it.
Desktop
Ubuntu(GNOME) is my desktop OS. It is a very simple OS with all the features i need(minus virus).
Eclipse is the defacto Java Development environment.
I also use Netbeans , for Ruby on Rails and PHP.
Internet
I am information savvy. I read web a lot. Thanks to RSS and Google Reader.
Books
I dont know when did i become a book worm(ok , snail atleast, i take time to complete a book).
Robin Sharma’s books changed the way i perceived life.
Head First books from Oreilly makes it easy to understand the technologies, be it Java, Servlets&JSP, Ruby on Rails,
Design patterns, OOAD, Software Development.
